It’s unusual to find Viognier from Italy, and but this wine proves why Italy can produce exceptional Viognier. From the Tuscan coastal region Maremma, it’s a bright straw colour with a complex nose with notes of mango and peach, with delicate floral aromas. The palate is fresh and savoury, making it a great apéritif, but it is also very delicious with fish and vegetable risottos, white meats, and fish. It enhances spicy dishes and sushi.
