The Niautou family has been investing in vine cultivation for 5 generations, therefore bringing a wealth of knowledge with them. Château des Hautes Combes is a favourite bought in 2008 by the family, and you can see why in this fantastic red Bordeaux blend. It’s situated in the Entre-deux-Mers overlooking the Dordogne valley, an area that boasts diversity of exposure and soils, and has been organically farmed since 2010. Their 2020 vintage has fine and ripe tannins with an intensity of black fruits with a hint of menthol, resulting in a fruity attack whilst retaining freshness. Perfect with chilli con carne, moussaka or ratatouille.
